Add Music on Hold (MoH) / Add ring tones instead of MoH

Music on Hold is the music played to the customer while waiting in the queue. There are a few standard tunes to choose between in the platform but you can also add your own Music on Hold. You can also add a Silent file if you don't wish to play any tune while the customer. In this guide you will also learn how to add ring tones instead of a sound file.


How to change Music on Hold

In the Admin interface go to Tools -> Sounds and press the upload icon in the bottom right corner:

Upload your sound file by either drag and drop or by clickick Upload. Then click Finish:

Go to Voice -> Music on Hold. Click on the + in the bottom right corner and name the Music on Hold:

Click on the three dots to the right and Edit, go to Audio Files and then click the +:

Choose the file you added in Sounds and then click Add Music on Hold:

Go to the voice queue you want to edit (Voice -> Voice Queues -> Edit Voice Queue). Go to the Settings tab and under Music on Hold add your new Music on Hold. Click Save:

How to change to ring tones instead of MoH

To change to ring tones instead of MoH, go to the Queue block in the IVR or to the Queue Application in the Inbound route. Edit the block or application and change Options = r, as shown below.



Save the block/application and then save the IVR or Inbound route.
